Closes a job. With reject_candidates, also rejects the job's active applications.

Missing or invalid bearer token.

403

The public API is not enabled for this account (err_feature_not_enabled), the acting user is not allowed to edit this job, or the API key lacks the jobs:write scope (err_insufficient_scope). With reject_candidates, the API key also needs the applications:reject scope.

404

Job not found (err_job_not_found).

409

The job can't be closed in its current status (err_invalid_state_transition).

422

Validation failed. Error codes:

• err_close_reason_not_found — unknown close reason
• err_close_reason_inactive — the close reason is disabled
• err_reject_candidates_not_enabled — rejecting candidates when closing a job is not enabled for your account
• err_rejection_reason_not_found — unknown rejection reason
• err_rejection_reason_inactive — the rejection reason is disabled
• err_rejection_reason_system — the rejection reason is reserved for automatic rejections
• err_email_template_not_found — unknown email template, or one the acting user can't use
• err_email_template_invalid_category — the template is not a rejection email template
• err_email_template_requires_survey — the template contains a survey link
• err_sender_mailbox_not_connected — the acting user has no mailbox to send from
• err_project_not_found — unknown project, or one the acting user can't add candidates to
• err_system_project — the project is a system project
• err_project_archived — the project is archived
• err_on_behalf_of_not_allowed — a personal access token passed another user's ID
• err_user_not_found — on_behalf_of is not an active user in the account
• err_on_behalf_of_forbidden — that user is not allowed to perform this action
