Updates a job. Fields not sent are unchanged. Closed and archived jobs can't be edited; editing a rejected job moves it back to draft.

The public API is not enabled for this account (err_feature_not_enabled), the acting user is not allowed to edit this job, or the API key lacks the jobs:write scope (err_insufficient_scope).

Validation failed. Error codes:

• err_job_not_editable — the job is closed or archived
• err_date_not_editable — open_at or target_date was sent for a job that is not published
• err_cannot_backdate_open_at — open_at was moved earlier
• err_open_at_cannot_be_greater_than_target_date — target_date is before open_at
• err_department_not_found — unknown or deleted department
• err_office_not_found — unknown or deleted office
• err_invalid_employment_type — unknown or disabled employment type key
• err_description_required — no description or template, or the description is empty
• err_description_too_long — the description is over 65,535 bytes
• err_description_conflict — both description and job_description_template_id were sent
• err_job_description_template_not_found — unknown template, or one this job can't use
• err_compensation_required — no salary while compensation is enabled for the job's offices
• err_compensation_disabled — a salary was sent while compensation is not enabled for the job's offices
• err_currency_not_found — unknown currency
• err_salary_invalid_range — max_amount is not above min_amount, or mid_amount is outside the range
• err_requisitions_not_enabled — requisitions are not enabled for your account
• err_requisition_required — your account requires a requisition and none was sent
• err_requisition_not_found — unknown requisition, or one the acting user can't manage
• err_requisition_not_eligible — the requisition's status doesn't allow linking
• err_requisition_associated_with_job — the requisition is already linked to another job
• err_requisition_code_not_allowed — requisition_code was sent while requisitions are on (use requisition_ids)
• err_requisition_code_required — the job form makes the requisition ID mandatory and none was sent
• err_job_profile_not_found — job profiles are not enabled, or the profile is unknown or not active
• err_job_profile_required — your account requires a job profile and none was sent
• err_custom_field_not_found — a custom field that doesn't apply to this job
• err_custom_field_required — a required custom field has no answer
• err_on_behalf_of_not_allowed — a personal access token passed another user's ID
• err_user_not_found — on_behalf_of is not an active user in the account
• err_on_behalf_of_forbidden — that user is not allowed to perform this action
